Corporate Information
Since 1979, CDCI has provided software solutions
to more than 14,000 companies. CDCI's extensive
line of software includes Job Cost Accounting,
Scheduling, Estimating, Digitizers, and Web-Based
Project Management. By employing both construction
and computer specialists, CDCI achieves a
developmental balance that has resulted in
a catalog of cutting-edge software capable
of enhancing the productivity of any construction
firm, no matter how simple or sophisticated
its needs may be.
John Geoffroy, our president, founded Construction
Data Control, Inc. (CDCI), in 1979 with a
vision of developing state of the art microcomputer
software for the construction industry. His
26 years of experience in construction accounting,
finance, project management and computer
systems helped to see this vision through
to fruition. John, a graduate of Georgia
State University, has been a homebuilder,
a remodeler and a multi-family project manager.
Today, CDCI continues to benefit from this
experience while providing estimating, scheduling,
accounting, and project management software
to homebuilders, remodelers, subcontractors,
general, and specialty contractors.
As part of the family of CDCI,
you will be
invited to informative user group
meetings,
held across the country, hosted
by John Geoffroy.
Here, you will learn about CDCI's
product
development strategy and participate
in an
open forum for questions and
answers. These
meetings will give you a mini-instruction
course on newly released products
and enhancements.
Through the years, we at CDCI have had the
opportunity to lecture on topics such as
Computers in Construction, Internet Project
Management, Software Solutions for Builders,
Websites for Contractors, and most recently
Wireless Construction. Some of these discussions
have been held on the campuses of prestigious
universities, such as University of Florida,
Auburn, Georgia Tech, University of Iowa,
and New Mexico State University. Our software
philosophies have also been published in
numerous trade journals, such as Builder,
Constructor, CPA Software News, ABC Computers
in Construction, Construction Business Computing,
and The Project Manager.
The CDCI team is continuously involved in
numerous conventions and trade shows around
the country. These shows include: International
Builders Show, World of Concrete, ConExpo,
Associated General Contractors Show, South
Eastern Builders Convention, Southern Building
Show, Pacific Coast Builders Conference,
Journal of Light Construction Live, Remodelers
Show, and "Architecture Engineering
Construction" Computers for Construction.
