Clyatt Construction Company in Missoula, Montana builds five to six houses a year. The company has been using CDCI software since the Spring of 1991. Before using CDCI software, Ann Clyatt had developed her own program for keeping books. She admits that she was very happy to find a construction software package that specifically matched the needs of her company.

"My husband and I went to the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Convention in 1991 looking for software," Ann recalls. "We went from vendor to vendor to vendor, and decided we were pleased with two. The difference and the reason we bought from CDCI were the sales people. The other company didn't have time for us. We were just too small for them. CDCI treated us differently. The salesman at CDCI sat down and showed us the program and answered our questions. After all this time with (CDCI Systems) Anne states that she "has been a reference for CDCI for years" and that her business is "doing fine!"

Cindy Ward has used CDCI software since 1987. When she took a position in 2000 with Harper Homes in Lakeland, Florida, she was convinced CDCI Systems was the software for this company.

Cindy finds that "the ability to tie in job budgets with the financial statements is an especially helpful tool. Once we get our budgets set, we know where we are at all times. This allows us to move right on to setting up and pricing the next job."

"I have been using (CDCI Systems) for 5 years now and I like it a lot," praises Evelyn Gogolin of Gogolin Enterprises in Alpharetta, Georgia. Since they started using CDCI Systems, Gogolin Enterprises has grown from building 20 homes a year to 60 homes. "It has really made a difference that (CDCI Systems) are designed expressly for builders."

Michael J. Graft Builders in Barrington, Illinois was one of the first companies to use CDCI's Windows-based software in 1990. Lynn Moran states, "I like the format. I can run a quarter or a year any time needed. I like being able to print the whole ledger to paper. With (CDCI Sytems), I have the ability to archive the invoices from the jobs and export it to Word, a very nice feature."

Lynn concludes, "Many software products do about the same things. However, (CDCI Systems) is superior to everything else on the market because of Job Cost. As an accounting tool, it is the best!" This tool allows CDCI Systems to be her only co-worker as she manages to keep the books for seven companies in a 24-hour a week work span.

"We have been with CDCI since 1981," says Sue Brennan of Brennan Builders in Evans City, Pennsylvania. "We were one of their first customers. Day to day it works great. The program itself is great".

One of Sue's favorite features is "having the General Ledger number tied to the project management number. This makes it difficult to make a mistake."

A CDCI client since 1988, Terry Tincher of Tincher's Welding in Waynesville, Ohio has taken advantage of CDCI's on-demand Internet sessions. "This has been a real plus whenever we've need additional training or assitance."
