(CDCI), designer and developer of construction management software, releases enhancements to Profit Builder Millennium that increase operator efficiency. These enhancements reflect the requests of over 700 companies that operate on Millennium. Since Millennium's initial release in January 1998, it has been the anchor of CDCI's job costing and accounting software. Enhancements to Millennium, Version 3.5, were based on a collection of client requests dating to February 2000. "We prioritized each request and selected those which would impact the majority of our clients," explains Tammy Wilhelm, CDCI Chief Financial Officer and Millennium Project Manager. "This release is the result of six months of coordination, testing, client and dealer input. We are extremely proud of the release and feel that it is in line with our customer's expectations of a CDCI product." This type of feedback from clients has frequently driven the evolution of CDCI software. When CDCI clients converted from their DOS-based systems, many clients found themselves in entirely new territory. "Profit Builder Millennium is a completely different program than our previous systems. Not only is the environment different, but it also offers many features and flexibility that were not available in our DOS products," comments John Geoffroy, President of CDCI. "However, we are aware that our clients are accustomed to particular features and reports as many of them have been using our software for ten to twenty years. Millennium's predecessors are the result of years of tweaking and tuning. This release contains an unprecedented amount of requested enhancements. We anticipate that our clients will be tremendously pleased with this release." In this new Version 3.5, Millennium users will find quick and precise methods of extracting information. The query function is now available in various modules. This enhancement allows users to quickly access information meeting specific criteria by filtering unnecessary data. Millennium is also armed with over 200 reports to further enhance data retrieval. In addition to enhancing the Millennium software and its reports, CDCI has enriched its customer support. CDCI's web site has a password-protected page for Millennium clients. This page features a searchable knowledge base for quick answers to technical questions, as well as a download area, where users can download current code, updated reports, and documentation. A "Tips and Tricks" section also provides additional resources for the advanced user.
