“Run Time Error 18” or Incorrect Date Reporting within Basic Builder

 

The short date setting in your Windows operating system needs to be changed.  Close Basic Builder and then do the following:

 

·   From the Windows Start Menu, select Settings, and click on Control Panel.

 

·   Double-click on Regional Settings and click on the Date tab.

 

·   In the “Short Date Format” box, click on the drop-down box, and select the option “mm/dd/yyyy”

 

·   Click OK to apply the changes and close Regional Settings.

 

·   Close the Control Panel and return to Basic Builder.
